My wife and I have been married for over 50 years. We have a son, a daughter, and one grandchild, Levi. We were married after we finished college. I went straight to graduate school in counseling while my wife, Nancy, went to work as a nurse. We’ve hopscotched over each other as chief wage earners, over the years. I went back to graduate school in computer science, for a brief time in A.I. at Xerox, and ended up designing software for The Rochester Group. Nancy returned to graduate school and became a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, working in the emergency department.

We are both retired, mostly. Nancy still works occasional shifts in Pediatric Urgent Care.

We have both spent over 30 years in volunteer youth work in local churches. Junior High for me, Nancy does Senior High. Now, I write and play pickleball with Nancy
